music to my ears
After taking more than a year off from teaching piano, I just started teaching again today and I am amazed at how much I have missed it! I have always liked working with kids and find great satisfaction in teaching just about anything, but the sound of a little person learning to make music is...well, music to my ears.

I am with on those little people making music. I am sure you are fabulous. I wish you were around to teach MY children. One is amazingly gifted and FIGHTS me, the other wants to play by ear only. :) YOU being the teacher would be music to MY ears! I am glad you are teaching. It must be so fulfilling to you!
I teach only 2 kids and agreed to do is since they can come early on Wednesdays before Tyson gets out of school. They always come with new songs they have made up for me to hear, which is really fun to listen to. My frustration is that they don't often come having practiced their other songs much and we work on the same songs FOREVER! I've even talked to the mom. So how do you motivate your students to practice during the week?
Good for you! That is so great! Wish we lived closer. I'd love it if you could teach my kids. :)
